Thinking of a friend

Many modelers have seen his creations and heard his name. Not that many actually know him on a personal level, to claim him as a friend. I have known Bruce Owen since 2004 and he is a member of my club. Bruce spent many nights in our club chat room, answering questions, laughing, sharing photos and being a personable guy just like the rest of us. He is a human being and has a heart.
Bruce has been diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis). Bruce went to the doctor complaining of a pain in his arm and to find out he has a disease? Almost immediately after diagnosis Bruce was becoming bed ridden and using a walker to get around. That's how "dangerous" it is.
Very recently Bruce was admitted into a hospital for a blood clot, but is expected to be fine. This is not the end of the road as far as "danger" is concerned.
I want everyone to know he is not afraid and said he accepts the will of God.
I just wanted everyone to think of him and maybe it will help him through this. Here is a video to watch about MS.

He assurd me that he will get thru this its gonna be a struggle for him though and each day is a new day... Bruce Owen wrote a quote from a journal as he finished His model of the Virtue RSX :
" To dream a dream is but a dream, but to love it enough is to make it live". I dont know how much better a person could tell it like it is thats just the kinda of guy Bruce Owen is a true friend..

A Message from Bruce Owen:

I just wanted to thank Bob Black, Gail Ellis (Kustom), and Mitch Capps, and many others for your kind thoughts.
With your thoughts and prayers, each day we are making progress. If progress continues, God willing, I plan on attending GSL this year, April 30, though May 3, 2009, to thank each and everyone of you in person. I will let you all know soon for sure.... Thank You for your kindness and thoughtfulness.

Best Regards, Bruce Owen
